Scuba Diver, Rugby Fan, Gamer....Need I say more!

Well I suppose I should touch on the professional side of things too…

I consider myself, and believe others agree, to be a fun, conscientious, pressure absorbing individual who has a good, wait, a fantastic sense of humour with elements of uncontrollable sarcasm. I have been working as an editor for over 20 years across different industries and platforms and feel this gives me a wealth of knowledge and ideas to bring to the table.

I started in the industry as a post production assistant, moving to junior editor, then Senior editor/Editor, with a flurry of preditor ( but without the cool cloaking device ). most of my work is short-form, fast turn around, promos, trailers, branded content, pitch/mood films and corporate work. I have had the pleasure of working in games studios, post production houses as well as advertising agencies and boutique production companies, my work has been produced for TV, online, socials, Events and pitches.

My experience is vast and varied, In the games industry I have worked on AAA game cutscenes and trailers where I am part of a large team, working on storyboards & animatics, selecting mobcap performances and working with the previz department updating edits and shots with director reviews. but I also have a lot of work on indie games too, which allows for more creative input across the process from concept to delivery, such as game capture, script writing, music selection, with cutdowns and edits specifically for ads and socials. I have advertising experience with agencies and branded content, like short ads for products, longer branded films, behind the scenes and company showreels, with a few longer credits on a couple of observational documentaries.

I am mainly using Adobe Premiere Pro and I also have experience with Davinci Resolve and Avid. My After Effects skills are basic, and I can dabble a bit in Photoshop.
